Proverbs 3:5-6
About us
In 2006, our family moved from Kansas to the Swift acreage in south central South Dakota. Less than eight miles west of the beautiful Missouri River, fourteen miles from the friendly town of Burke, and in the heart of an inviting agricultural and ranching community, it was the perfect location in which to raise and nurture a family.
Activity inside the little farm house was soon matched by activity outdoors. A dog and a few barn cats were promptly joined by a flock of chickens and then by ten Boer nannies. Through trial, error, multiple kidding seasons, and subsequent purchases, the goat herd grew.
The family grew, too, and everyone stayed busy during the summer and autumn months with gardening, chores, and other farm work. Continuing the annual tradition of growing pumpkins, the oldest kids planted their first handfuls of seeds with Grandpa's expertise to guide them. What had begun as Grandpa and Grandma's retirement hobby blossomed into a small business venture as the younger siblings expanded the patch to include different varieties of pumpkins, squash, and gourds.
Today, we enjoy selling fall produce during September and October, raising goats (along with a few chickens and cattle), and serving our neighbors and one another as God gives us opportunity.
We are truly blessed to live and work where we do, and we seek to honor and glorify Him in all of our operations. Thank you for stopping by!

The "pumpkin patch crew" has changed over the years; as the older children grow up and move out, the younger ones get their taste of planting, hoeing, and picking.
